Digestion in Stomach

Digestion and absorption class 5 The food is mixed throughly with the acidic gastric juice of the stomach by the churning movements of its muscular wall and the product is called  Chyme.  HCL  provides the acidic pH (1.8) which is optimal for the action of pepsin.

Digestive Glands

Digestion and absorption class 4 3 Pairs of salivary glands in man, the parotid (below the pinna) sub mandibular (angles of lower jaw) sublingual (below the tongue). these are formed by serous cells. which secrete saliva Gastric glands: 1. cardiac glands(mucus) 2. pyloric glands (gastrin), 3. fundic glands (neck, peptic, oxyntic cells which secrete mucus, proenzymes, hcl and intrinsic factor)  For complete lesson click here

Histology of alimentary canal

Digestion and absorption class 3 from esophagus to the rectum the wall of alimentary canal have 4 layers namely serosa, muscularis externa, sub mucosa and mucosa.    Serosa: outermost layer. made by thin mesothelium Muscularis Externa formed by smooth muscles. divided into outer longitudinal, inner cicular muscles. Sub mucosa: formed by connective tissue. mucosa: innermost layer.  For Complete Lesson click here

Digestion And Absorption Class 2 Pharynx is a common passage for both air and food. pharynx is divided into 3 parts. namely Naso-Pharynx, Oro-Pharynx, Laryngeal-Pharynx  Esophagus is a straight tube. it has an upper esophagal sphincter, and lower cardiac sphincter.   Stomach : it is a j shaped organ. it stores food for 4-5 hours. it is divided into 3 regions. namely cardiac, fundic, pyloric regions.  Small Intestine . it is large portion of alimentary canal. it is divided into jejunum, ileum, colon, rectum. Large Intestine is have 3 parts. they are cecum, colon, rectum.  Colon divided into 4 parts. ascending, transverse, descending, sigmoid colon cecum have some symbiotic bacteria.  For Complete lesson: click here

ECG/EKG

Image
ECG ECG or EKG is a graphical information of electrical events which occur in our heart musculature. This graph is prepared by electrocardiogram. Electrocardiogram is a machine which works on the principles of galvanometer.. Our heart is a good conductor.  so different types of electrical vectors pass through the cardiac muscle. which are generated  by pacemaker. And that vectors are vary in different cardiac problems.. To diagnose the actual site of problem we use ECG.. It is Applied biology.  Topics Covered In This Video: ▪Galvanometer working mechanism ▪Structure of heart Generation and Conduction of electrical impulses ▪Heart Working mechanism ▪ECG pattern (waves, complexes, segments and intervals) ▪Hypo and hyperkalamia ▪Hypo and hypercalcemia ▪Tachycardia and Bradycardia This video is for whom! students who want to write medical entrance exams (NEET, AIPMT, JIPMER, EAMCET) & IPE Exams. the learners who have intrest to know human physiology. are get ...
