3 Pairs of salivary glands in man, the parotid (below the pinna) sub mandibular (angles of lower jaw) sublingual (below the tongue).
these are formed by serous cells. which secrete saliva



Gastric glands: 1. cardiac glands(mucus) 2. pyloric glands (gastrin), 3. fundic glands (neck, peptic, oxyntic cells which secrete mucus, proenzymes, hcl and intrinsic factor)
